Biodiesel can be distributed using existing infrastructure. Fuel stations are beginning to make biodiesel available to consumers, and a growing number of transport fleets use it as an additive in their fuel.
Potential environmental hazards surround the transport, storage and handling of various hazardous materials used in the production of biodiesel; these include methanol and sodium hydroxide. To prevent any such hazards, Pure has implemented numerous controls designed to ensure such risks are minimized or eliminated.
Pure is positioning itself to take advantage of the rapidly growing biodiesel market by forming strategic relationships with distributors. Pure is focusing on distributors that are able to consume bulk shipments of fuel and will be working with local distributors to off take part of the Callao Port refinery’s 52.5 million gallons of annual biodiesel production.
